New Year, New Build! 2020 has been a year I’m sure many of us would like to put past us. It’s been a wild one, full of ups and downs but here we are. Still standing and looking to the future with optimism and hope. The property market in WA is going through its own ups and downs > With rental shortages and surging demand for builders, it is an unusual time for many builders. For Bellagio homes though, we’ve seen it all, throughout our 40 years of combined industry knowledge, we’ve stood the test of time and will continue to deliver exceptional, custom, bespoke homes into 2021 and the future.
Here are our top 3 things to consider to get you into your dream home in 2021.
Choose Your Moment
The beginning of 2021 is going to be a big one for builders and suppliers all across WA. The State building grant rolled out in 2020 demanded that anyone receiving the grant had to start building by June 30th. This was extended until the 31st of December but only after an outcry from builders across the State. Many had to turn down contracts because they couldn’t keep up with demand. While Bellagio Homes only deals with the finest custom homes, we’ve been able to keep up with demand, building in the first half of 2021 might be a bit tight.
Good Things Take Time
It can sometimes seem like new homes are sprouting out of the ground like WA wildflowers. And for cooky cutter designs and prebuilt and prefab homes, well, they kind of are. But when you’re building a custom home it is exactly how it sounds – it’s custom. It’s designed from the ground up, from the doorknob to drawers, from roof tile to floor drain. So, don’t be jealous of your friends and family whose new house springs up out of nowhere. You’ll be swimming in their envy once the final lick of paint is applied to your dream home.
A new year is the chance to start anew. You can start at the gym (again) you can give up that cheeky little vice you’ve been meaning to or you can get the freshest 2021 house designs to turn heads in the neighbourhood. Designing a new home from scratch means you don’t have to follow in other’s footsteps and you have the chance to be among the first to try some new styles and designs. Use the new year as an excuse to visit designers and architects and really get a feel for what’s going to be trending in 2021 and the future.
At Bellagio Homes, we don’t need an excuse to talk custom homes. With over 40 years of combined experience in the team, we often talk of little else! Get in touch today and let’s have a chat about getting you into your custom dream home in 2021.
